Acceptable Use Policy
What you may not do with Errorgap. This policy is part of, and incorporated into, the Terms of Service.
01Scope
This policy applies to everyone who uses Errorgap — account holders, their users, and any agents or tokens they issue. Violations may lead to suspension or termination under the Terms.
02Prohibited use
You may not use Errorgap to engage in or enable:
- Illegal, harmful, deceptive, defamatory, or infringing activity.
- Malware, credential theft, secret exfiltration, spam, or phishing.
- Distributing content you have no right to distribute.
- Using the service to attack, probe, or overload third parties.
03Sensitive & regulated data
Errorgap is built for operational telemetry, not regulated data. You are responsible for the telemetry you choose to send.
Do not send
Protected health information (PHI), full payment card numbers (PAN), government-issued IDs, children's data, or other regulated/sensitive data — unless expressly supported under a separate written agreement. Use redaction rules to keep secrets out of telemetry.
04Platform integrity
To keep the service reliable and isolated for everyone, you may not:
- Bypass or attempt to bypass rate limits, quotas, or authentication.
- Access, or attempt to access, another tenant's data.
- Reverse-engineer, resell, or make competitive use of the service.
- Conduct security testing or scanning without prior written authorization.
05Enforcement
We may investigate suspected violations and may suspend or terminate access to protect the service, our customers, or third parties. Where practical we give notice; where there is imminent risk we may act first.
